ABOUT CURB
The Caribbean Umbrella Body for Restorative Behaviour (CURB) is the first and only Caribbean network of non-profit associations working to assist and support criminal offenders, ex-offenders, crime survivors and their respective families.
In 2009, CURB partnered with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Ministry of National Security in Trinidad and Tobago to host 2 days of training in understanding and responding to human trafficking for prisons officers, persons in prison ministry and various civil society representatives.
From 2009 to 2010 CURB sat on the Cabinet appointed Task Force to develop a policy document to address human trafficking in Trinidad and Tobago. Since 2011 we have partnered with both State agencies and civil society organisations to conduct training sessions for key stakeholders.
In 2013, CURB partnered with the Ministry of National Security and the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development to host a 3-day workshop on ending male demand for commercial sex and violence against women and girls. This was the beginning of our "End the Demand" campaign.
Since 2014, CURB has been privileged to be part of various global research initiatives to expand how stakeholders approach the prevention of human trafficking and working with survivors of human trafficking.

Gender and Child Affairs
In 2013, CURB collaborated with MNS and the Gender and Child Affairs Division to address male demand for commercial sex. We continues to utilise our "End the Demand" campaign to further the discussion on ending all forms of gender based violence.
